There is a close relationship between sleep, our mental health and overall wellbeing.

Sleep is vital for our bodies regular functions. A lack of sleep is linked to issues such as weakened gut health, immune system, and cognitive function.

When we are stressed or find ourselves in tough situations, we very often have issues with sleep as we find our minds racing and thoughts preoccupied. Similarly, when we are sleep deprived, our mental health is at detriment and we are more likely to feel anxious, experience depression or suicidal thoughts.
