Managing Stress for a Healthy Body and Mind

Stress affects us all, no matter how big or small, it is often a daily occurrence. However, when we are constantly under pressure and have no tools to cope, our risk of developing serious illness and mental health complications increase.

Stress can impact many areas of our life and well being, from appetite to sleep and cognitive function. This workshop hosted by Dr Lavinia Ionita, will take us through the biological impacts of stress, how it affects our mind and body, and the detrimental effects this can have on our health long term. You will learn practical tools to deal with stress in the moment and well as ways in which we can reduce stress long term.

About our host

Dr. Lavinia Ionita is a medical doctor and entrepreneur with expertise in preventive health and mental wellbeing. She aims to help individuals to take care of their health in a more scientific and ultimately more efficient way. With her startup, she wants to tackle chronic stress and improve the quality of life, using a data-driven approach.

Having graduated from the Craiova Faculty of Medicine in Romania, and the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, Dr. Ionita specialises in Addictology at the University of Paris-V and holds a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology and Psychopathology from the University of Paris-VIII. She also holds a Certificate in Genetics & Genomics from the University of Stanford with minors in Genetic Engineering, Biotechnology, Genomics Approach of Cancer, Stem Cells & Pharmacogenomics.
