Lucy Beresford is a broadcaster, writer, and psychodynamic psychotherapist. She sees patients weekly for one-to-one psychotherapy in central London, and is perhaps best known for hosting a weekly Sex & Relationships phone-in show on LBC Radio, where she was dubbed ‘the naughty Mary Poppins’. She is an Agony Aunt on ITV’s This Morning, a panellist on the Channel 5 show Jeremy Vine, and hosted the fortnightly live-streamed show Love Decoded for eHarmony. Her TEDx talk “Infidelity: to stay or to go?” has been viewed on You Tube over 350,000 times. 

 
 
 

Lucy has over 20 years’ experience as a therapist, life coach and wellbeing advocate. Lucy advises clients on issues around stress, fame, celebrity, addictions, depression, eating issues, performance anxiety, and confidence. Lucy worked for 15 years at The Priory Hospital, Roehampton, and most recently at The Grace Clinic, Belgravia. She also works with corporates, examining consumer behaviour and identifying drivers for growth. She’s passionate about empowering people to create a life they love, and is the author of the international best-seller Happy Relationships: at home, work and play as well as 3 novels. 

Lucy is also the founder of The Kindness Club, and its award-winning Refuge for Books scheme, creating libraries in shelters run by the UK domestic violence charity Refuge.
